Environment
THE ENVIRONMENT AT THE HEART OF OUR EXISTENCE
Harmony. Respect. Responsibility.
We combine creativity and ecology in order to work differently for future generations. We constantly evaluate our products, services and activities. We adapt our designs, materials and technologies to offer the best practices to respect nature and human health. Our goal is to constantly reduce our environmental footprint as much as possible.

ECONYL® REGENERATED NYLON
For the first time, stain-resistant carpets are not created at the expense of the environment.
magination is infinite. Just like ECONYL®.
Our desire to create and purchase new products is infinite, but the resources are not. With ECONYL®, it is now possible to produce new carpets while preserving the environment.
ECONYL® regenerated nylon transforms the problems caused by textile waste and residues into exceptional fashion and interior design solutions. ECONYL® is manufactured by recovering nylon waste - such as ocean and aquaculture fishing nets, factory fabric waste and carpet destined for landfill - and converting it into high-quality virgin nylon yarn.

The result: a tailor-made yarn
Manufactured with a modified polymer, a special cross-section and advanced finishing technology, this dyed nylon fibre combines cleanliness with maximum wear resistance.
Our special blend guarantees:
- LIGHT FASTNESS
- COLOUR STABILITY
- UV RESISTANCE
- STAIN RESISTANCE
Sustainable Development
"ECONYL® StayClean" is made by recovering nylon waste, such as fishing nets used in the sea and in aquaculture, fabric waste from factories and carpets destined for landfill sites. With the ECONYL® Regeneration System, these wastes are transformed into regenerated nylon yarn that can be recycled endlessly - no waste, no new resources, just endless possibilities.
ECONYL® StayClean" is not only a concrete solution against the accumulation of textile waste, it is also an excellent alternative against the harmful effects of climate change. It reduces the global warming impact of nylon by up to 80% compared to other petroleum-based materials. In addition, carpets made with "ECONYL® StayClean" fibre emit a negligible amount of total VOCs. Finally, ECONYL® contributes to LEED v.4 credits in four categories.
FOR EVERY 10,000 TONS OF ECONYL® RAW MATERIALS, WE ARE ABLE TO:
In addition to being a solution for waste reduction, ECONYL® regenerated nylon contributes to the fight against climate change.
It reduces nylon's impact on global warming by up to 80% compared to materials derived directly from petroleum.

Certifications
Our team of high-calibre professionals has focused on designing products that contribute to LEED credits in categories such as the use of recycled content, compliance with indoor air quality standards and the choice of local materials.
By completing our certifications, particularly LEED and HPD, we realized that we could further improve our products to reduce their impact on the environment. That's why we developed our new products using only recycled nylon. Also, the analysis of the impact of each ingredient on the environment and health led us to pursue our research in the development of environmentally healthier carpet backing technologies.

Our Certifications

Environmental Product Declaration (EPD)
An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is an independently registered and verified document that provides transparent and comparable information on the environmental impact of products and their life cycle.

CANADA GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL (CaGBC)
The Canada Green Building Council is a national non-profit organization that has been working since 2002 to promote sustainable building and community practices in Canada. The CaGBC is the licensee of the LEED Green Building Rating System in Canada and supports the WELL Building Standard and the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) in Canada.

HEALTH PRODUCT DECLARATION (HPD)
The Health Product Declaration® (HPD®) report is the benchmark for transparency of chemical ingredients in materials and provides a comprehensive list of product ingredients and their associated health effects.

CRI GREEN LABEL PLUS
Green Label Plus (GLP) guarantees the purchase of a carpet that complies with the best criteria on the market regarding the emission of particles that are harmful to the environment and health.

MINDFUL MATERIALS
Mindful MATERIALS is the directory that provides all the documents related to the environmental certifications of the product.
Recycling programme
We have made arrangements with various partners who will collect the carpets at the end of their useful life for recycling. Contact us to find out more about the solutions we can provide if a recycling program is required for your project.
