WHAT IS MaxTab?
FLOATING AND GLUE-FREE
MaxTab is a patented adhesive strip that allows for the floating installation of our tiles and carpet boards without the application of odorous glues, thereby eliminating the volatile organic compounds (VOCs) emitted by these liquid glues.
It is easy to use, creates less mess and offers greater flexibility for the installation, cleaning, repair or selective replacement of tiles or carpet boards.

MaxTab consists of a single layer polyester tape with a thick, conformable layer of high tack silicone adhesive. The adhesive adheres strongly to irregular surfaces and excludes water. It is highly resistant to all solvents and detergents.
MaxTab also includes a single-layer polyester high-temperature silicone tape that adheres to the most difficult surfaces in high-temperature environments.
MaxTab's 3rd layer is a single-sided polyester tape with a highly effective acrylic adhesive that adheres well to low-energy surfaces and does not shrink.
Silicone adhesive provides superior adhesion in high temperature applications. Durable polyester film is tear and puncture resistant, chemical resistant, drip resistant, seep resistant and slip resistant. Acrylic adhesive provides excellent adhesion and initial bonding; the thick layer of adhesive conforms to irregular surfaces to ensure a firm bond.
The advantages of MaxTab in terms of saving time and money compared to conventional solutions, such as the use of carpet glue. It is easy to use, creates less damage and offers greater flexibility for installation, repair or selective replacement.

AN IDEAL FLOOR COVERING SOLUTION FOR CORRIDORS
PermaFuse XL is the ideal floor covering solution for hallways and large spaces. It consists of long strips of stain-resistant nylon carpet, 2 metres wide, backed with inseparable closed-cell layers that offer many benefits, including a watertight boundary between the carpet and the floor, and adhesion to the floor without the use of glue.

PermaFuseXLTM, combined with Venture Carpet's advanced MAX installation system - including FuseMax joint tape and SealMax sealant - allows you to complete any installation without the use of adhesives. Using this installation system, there is no need to test for water vapour emission rate (WVE) or relative humidity (RH), provided no liquids or moisture stains are present on the surface prior to installation.
The result will be a "floating" floor surface that performs well and is aesthetically appealing. The selection of styles and colours PermaFuseXLTM offers allows for creative versatility while harmonizing with our carpet tiles and planks.
